Now Day of this episode. Yep, I'll I'll let you introduce what song we talking we are goingto be talking about Mellie Kaliki Macca, which happens to be by being crosby, my favorite Christmas did eat now I...

...think I just spoiled the ending ofthe show by announcing that so loudly and proudly, but I don't care. It's Christmas, I am filled with joy, but I love me some Mellie Klikimaca. Yeah, IT'S A it's a quality Christmas tune and there havebeen numerous versions of the version we're going to talk about today is the kindof holiday staple from being crosby and the Andrews Sisters, which was off beingcrosby's album merry Christmas, which came out in nineteen fifty five. However, the the song itself, Mellie Kaliki Maka, was written by Robert Alex Anderson innineteen forty nine. Now, quick little backstory being crosby was actually agolf partner and friend of Robert Alex Anderson, and then Anderson played the song forcrosbying and Crosby liked this so much he recorded his own version of it, which I think wound up being in nineteen fifty, and then in nineteenfifty five it became part of Crosby's famous this compilation album, marry Christmas. So that's the that's the one we're going to talk about today, the oneoff of crosby's merry Christmas album. And I'll tell you what, when itcomes to singing Christmas songs, Man Bing just nailed like every single one ofthem. Yeah, he really did. He's known for him. You know, it's kind of like borough lives. When you think of these two names, you automatically think, oh, this has to be a Christmas record.Yep, yeah, bing is crushed all the Christmas songs now to day. What are some of your memories of this particular song? Well, I amgoing to give you a double WAMMI on this, drew, because I'm beup sure I've heard it plenty as a child, considering it came out many, many years before I was born, but I happen to see a littlefilm in the movie theaters way back when in the late s called National Lampoon'sChristmas vacation. Was An age appropriate? Absolutely not, but still my popstook me to go see it and there's a scene in that film. Youfamiliar with the movie at all, drew? Oh, it's top three. Okay, I love all time for me...

...for Christmas movies. This is nowI know why I hang out with you, because if you don't like Christmas vacation, there is something seriously wrong with you. But the whole he's fantasizingabout the pool in his backyard. This whole scene of the movie, andthey play Mellie Kalicki Maka and for some reason at that time that song stuckwith me and I believe mostly, and much like you, drew, youcan relate to this. Growing up on the East Coast Christmas time, sure, it's wonderful to spend time with your family and friends, but climate wise, as far as weather, it's miserable, sucks, it's terrible. I don'tlike being cold. I moved awail from all that. You, unfortunately, are still in the thick of it. So to hear a song about aHawaiian Christmas to me with such an appealing, wonderful idea, I justcouldn't get enough of it. It warms the heart, it does, especiallywhen you live in the frozen Tundra. That's right. Yeah, we justgot we'll tell you about man, we looked out because that we were.We just got a storm over last week and we were supposed to get liketwelve, that between twelve to twenty inches, and we only wound up getting abouteight. So I was like, all right, that's that's good.E. It's like that's like good, that's fine. Anything beyond that, anything beyond that, it's it gets to be a complete shit show. Butyou fool, you, yeah, Damn Fool. I haven't seen a flakeof snow in years and it's wonderful as a fantastic thing. I don't careif I ever see another flake of snow in person. If it's on TV, that's fine, but I don't want to touch it, I don't wantto clean it, I don't even want to touching my skin. Okay,no more snow. I don't hate it. I just hate when you gets somuch and you know it's it just gets you know, things get youlike roads are getting shut down. That's when, I guess to be amess. I mean I like we weally going where anyway right now, butbut I mean for me, yeah, the pretty much the same thing.Like, I feel like I probably had heard it on the radio before Christmasvacation came out, but I feel like Christmas vacation probably give it a littlebump and popularity, sure due to its...

...placement in that movie, which andthat, like I said, that movie is in fact fantastic, very quotable. Right. I love that movie. You you have to watch it everyChristmas season and I love that. I'll tell you what, Dave, Ilove that movie so much. Now, Clark Grizzold, they lived in Chicago. He was a big Black Hawks Fan. Right. Personally, I was abig I still am. I still like them. They're not a teamanymore, but I'm a Hartford whalers fan. Okay, they're. Technically they're nowthe Carolina hurricanes, but I I still go for the Hart of whalersand I love them so much and I love the Christmas vacation movie so much. I actually had a custom whalers Jersey made and I wore it to Christmasesago. Get Out of dodge. We had we had family. That wasn'tlike a big family Christmas, but we had my parents up in, mybrother and sister in law over and we YEP, and I had my customwhalers Jersey. That's great, drew. This awesome. I mean there's atotal Clark grizzwold moment. They're righteous. My brother is the most difficult guyon the face of the Earth to buy for. He already has everything heneeds and so this year I actually ordered him a custom made and I know, listen, I'm a Boston guy. My brother, we bleed Boston, but I got him here the movie Authentic Clark griswold Black Hawk Jersey. Okay, man, he loves it and he wore it while he was actually decoratinghis house for Christmas. So I said, there you go, as long asyou don't fall off the roof, everything is a okay. Yeah, that's that's a good that's a great gift. It was awesome because I'm an awesomeguy. I I you know what, I'm the most thoughtful person on theface of the earth, maybe even in the universe. I don't know, it's debatable. Top three at least. Oh, yeah, yeah, butI'll tell you what, speaking of numbers and being in the top beingcrosby's version has been streamed over sixty seven million times on spotify and, perbillboard, this song peaked like the other...

...day, which is weird. Youknow, this song is what seventy years old almost. This song peaked atnumber one hundred and sixteen, which I didn't even know, like that waspossible, because it's like the hot one hundred and like, why is thereone hundred sixteen? And I pulled it up, I I I looked atI looked, I pulled up on billboards website, like it was there.HMM. And and it peeked at number one and sixteen on December Sixteen, two thousand and twenty, so a couple days ago. Well, I assumethere are other Christmas songs that are also peeking because people this year, maybemore than ever, needs some happiness in their lives and Christmas songs tend toprovide that for a lot of folks. Yeah, and now I'll let meask us a little quizier. What do you think? What do you thinkthe number one song was on the hot one hundred last week. You areasking the wrong I Y, because I'm not really hip or down or withit. With the kids in there Hula hoops and Nintendo Games, I'm notsure who's hot right now and WHO's not. So I'm just going to take awild stab here. Is that? Does that work for you? Doit to Legit, to quit MC HAMMER? That's a that's a great choice.Thank you. That's a great choice. Close. But you know, whatyou were saying earlier was actually pretty spot on. Number One, youknow, we're we were saying people are listening to a lot of Christmas music. Now, the number one song was actually all I went for Christmas,as you know, right carry, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, come on, that Sag he nauseates me and II know we're talking Christmas, we're talking happiness, and then you justbrought up the one Christmas song. I'm like, you know, it doesn'tdo anything for me, doesn't move the needle. Actually probably moves a needlein the opposite direction. You know, at least they didn't say hey,Santa by the fucking Wilson Phillips. Okay, true, I suppose that. Yeah, all right. Well, I don't know, it's not really ahill I'm willing to die on, so let's move on. Yeah, nowhow does this song we always talk about? You know, how's the song comparedto other songs on the album? It fits? Yeah, they're allChristmas songs. So, yeah, you...

...got being crossby the thing crosby. You know, something that Bing crosby did is in the late S, andI found this very interesting. He did a duet with David Bowie, yes, a little drummer boy. That's great version. It's it's okay, andyou know I'm a huge Bowie Fan, but it's not like for me,it's not like wow, oh my God. I think I'm more impressed by thewhole kind of different cultures or the different basically, you talking to aguy, talking about a guy rather, who made his career dressing up anddragon said he came from another planet with freaking Lily White Bread Making Crosby, you know what I mean, an old man. I think I was suchan interesting collaboration. That's that's what I've been kind of alluding to my wholeramble here. But that's really bizarre. But it wasn't bad. Yeah,no, I I like that version too. But yeah, I think if youasked me, well, well, we'll talk about our favorite Christmas songs. I'll mention it there. Yeah, I do have to say this.So the Wilson Phillips Little Drummer boy better than the Crosby Bowie version. You'rejoking. I am joking. That's the president of the tree, me andmy gigs, ha ha ha. Don't ever say that that the Brentley Gilbertversion was great. All, Brantley Gilbert can really knock out a Christmas diddy. That's not funny. Yeah, I know, it's not funny at all. Anyway. Okay, I know what you're talking about. What are wetalking about? Mel Kliki Maka? Yes, yes, I mean lyrically. Imean Meli Kaliki Maka just means Merry Christmas. That's it. It's allyou need. That's pretty much. I feel like I don't need to diginto this, like a Fogelberg Song, but yeah, this one's just's MaryChristmas, pretty basic. It's happy. It's like a nice greeting. HMM, Yep, you know, and Nice Hawaiian greeting. That's really it.This song is far from revolutionary. There's nothing going on to the song otherthan, as I mentioned before, with with me being raised on, youknow, frozen earth. Yeah, is...

...that traditional Christmas songs or standards usuallymentioned? You get, you know, you need the snow, you needthe cold, need you know, Oh baby, it's cold outside, whathave you. This one was just a different theme. It was like no, we don't need that crap. Christmas is here and it is warm andbright. You know what I mean. It's wonderful in Hawaii and I've neverspent a Christmas in Hawaii, but I would love to do so. Soif any of your listeners want to donate to the cause and send us toHawaii for next Christmas, please do so right now. Yeah, that'd begreat. I will gladly accept that gift. Yep, we will broadcast from Hawaiion Christmas Day two thousand and twenty one. That's right. Yeah,I mean last year. Yeah, yeah, we love a Pennsylvania and you knowwe get we get snow, you know, around the holidays, wintertime. That's what happens up in the northeast. But last year we took our kidsto Disney and we stayed at the villages in Florida, which, bythe way. It is fantastic. I love the villages. They are glorious. You just drive around the golf cart and drink beer all day, goto happy hour at like five o'clock and you're like home and bed about likeeight or nine. It's perfect. But I know it was nice, though, and like a lot of the houses were decorated, but it was,you know, like seventy eighty degrees. It was beautiful and I I hadno problem with their not being snow. So I'm okay with a nice, warm Christmas greeting. That works for me. Yeah, I just hear far toooften, like people that are similar to me where they are, thatsnow sucks. I hear that snow and then they change their tune a littlebit. They go, well, I wouldn't mind a couple flakes for Christmas, and I say no, you can't have it now. You didn't wantit. You got to stick you get to stick to your guns. Youjust cannot write. Cannot ever want to see that damn snow. Yeah,MMM, yeah, I don't mind it. You know, I don't need tohave snow for it to be a Christmas. That's not really high onmy priority list. Well, people who are not from the east coast orfrom a place that does snow, maybe you know, like Colorado or whatever. They're not really familiar either with the...

...whole clean up process of snow.So the first solid point is all nice and looks like it does again ontelevision, well, beautiful way Christmas, and then after the snow plows hit'sblack and gunky and gross and slushy and sit's around for a couple weeks, depending on how yeah warmer it is. It's around for a couple weeks.Like your brother in law, the one WHO's unemployed, who says he justcan't find the right position to management. You know what I mean? Justno, yes, no, it's overrated. MMM, it's overrated. But yeah, I mean lyrically. Like you said, this song does not goingto wow anybody necessarily. That's a fun and that's another thing too write. You know, most Christmas songs are usually, you know, they probably come inlike under, like three minutes, usually like two and a half minutes. I feel likes a good Christmas song sometimes even shorter than that, unlessyou're Fogelberg and you drop a five minute and it's glorious. I love it. But yeah, I think the only one. That might be the onlysongs that use are longer than the twelve days of Christmas or whatever. Okay, that's just because there's like a million things they have to get through, but otherwise usually songs are pretty quick and like leaky Makas are pretty quick song, and it's good. It's just to the point, to the point.Yeah, indeed, exactly. So, speaking of getting to the point, why don't we do that, deave? Yeah, so what do you think? Well, Meli Kalicky Maka by being crosby. Do you think this isa legit hit or a song gone wrong? Well, I kind of, youknow, jump the shark there in the beginning of the show. Iadmit it's my favorite Christmas song because it's a kind of tune I wouldn't mindstanding around the fire snap my fingers while I'm wearing a ugly turtleneck sweater, maybe pop and open a couple chestnuts, mingling with family and friends, youknow whatever. But uh again, I like I like the theme of it. I like it so much, and is upbeat, is happy. Anotherreal key component to any kind of Christmas...

Song, if you asked me,is easy to follow along with. Easy to sing along with as well andunlikes. You know other songs that they just say Mary Christmas for Happy Holidays. Here you get something more fun to say with Mela Kaliki macca just rollsoff the tongue, doesn't it so for me does. This song is absolutelya legit holiday hit. Now on to my boy drew, who's feeling bluebecause you get snow on you mom. I'm not film. I mean I'llfilm blue because like two thousand and twenty suck. I was just trying tomake up something that rhymed. Okay, I was trying to Casey, okay, Casey, case in my way into your verdict. You know, forgiveme for trying to be cool. Daddy's shadow. Yeah, Shaddo, Stevebons Love Shadow. Yeah, I mean this is a legit Christmas said.I'm just gonna I'll lead off with that. Yeah, I've said it before onother episodes with other songs. Right, like, like with thriller. Ifyou don't have thriller on your Halloween playlist, you do not have aHalloween playlist. If you leave off Mellie Kaliki Maka, and if you leavethat off your Christmas playlist you have no Christmas playlist, namely the Bang version. I honestly wouldn't recommend any other versions. Just stick with being. I thinkI saw Jimmy Buffett version. I didn't listen to it. I don'twant to. But the bing version, I mean that's to the test oftime for like seventy years and there's no reason to change that. It's goodstuff. It's a legit hit. Right, I'll bro Right on. Well,I mean we are in accordance here. We agree, which is wonderful toyou know, be in the season of happiness, and we are,you know, in union, if you will. But what about we arethe fans. Let's see what the fans have to say. So, youknow what, I'm okay this number. HMM. Ninety four percent of thefans said that this is a legit hit. Wow, that might. Is thatlike our highest percentage? Maybe it's got to be up there. It'sgot to be up there. Wow,...

...a lot of people are. Ithey're not getting mellieclicking mock it out, that's for sure. That bring iton, baby. Yeah, yeah, I think I want to say thisis how we do it. By Monte Jordan was pretty high as well.Huh, I don't think it was ninety four percent. I don't know ifyou've ever had a ninety percent or before. Well, we untell Jordan and Bingcrosby. Those are the tickets right there. They go hand in hand. Yeah, you know who to thunk it? Speaking of little drummer boy, with David Bowie and Bing Crosby, Montell Jordan should have done a songwith being crosby and the world would have been set on fire. This ishow we celebrate Christmas. Yeah, Falla Lalah, yeah, yeah, Iwould definitely download that song, for sure, absolutely that. That'll make my Christmasplaylist moving nice. But speaking of Christmas playlist, Dave, let's let'stalk about ours. You know, we talked about we talked about same oldlength sign by Dan Fogelberg last episode. Mi Likely Gy Maka this one. What? Why don't you give me your top three or just some of yourfavorite Christmas songs all time? Doesn't matter what year, doesn't matter by WHO, but what are your favorite Christmas songs? Wow, that's a great question, and I mean there's a lot of tunes out there, and the thingis is I'm more accustomed to listening to some of the standards, speaking ofgood old being that have been around for a long, long time. Buttoday I will bring up some things that are or I will bring up somesongs that are more recent. Maybe. Well, I mean they're old,but I'm old too. So maybe you get my drift here, my snowdrift. But I don't believe it's truly Christmas and less I hear the songs onthe radio, one of which would be happy Christmas, war is over,by John Lennon and Yoko. Oh No, I'm not sure if you're a fanof that song, drew to go on. Yep, it's a goodone, he says, not great one, is a good one. Okay, well, maybe this will take a little your ivor. Well, thereis the reason why I'm always like I think the song starts off. Heis like, so this is Christmas,...

...and what have you done? NowI'm like, I'm not only not enough, John, the message is good, man. You know what it has over you want? If we allbelieve in world peace, amazing things can happen if we're kind to one anotherand not just slow leading out for our own self interests, and which happensto be. It's amazing to me to this song has been out for solong and so many people like the song, but nobody gets the damn message. No, Oh, no, everybody's out. I'm not going to getinto it. Yes, let's let's keep it nice and friendly and happy here. Harry Christmas. Yep, okay, now, that's a good song. That is a good song. I agree. All right, you want to doone in one. You just want me to keep going because again Iwas mentioning I was going to hit you with another lovely little track here. But I mean feel free to jump in. We can bounce back and forth.Maybe we pick the same things, who knows? That's why. Yeah, I mean I think it's safe to say the same old lengs and anddo they know it's Christmas time? Are Not on my list, but Iwould say some of my fair I think my number one is snoopy's Christmas bythe Royal Guardsman. My Dad is a big fan of that song. I'ma big fan of that song. It's just cool man, you know,it's a good tune. I think that came out like in his S.it's fun. You know, we are honest like the he's like the RedBaron. You know. Yeah, never, it's fun. Nobidyle, I gotto mention I like how we started. I went with John Lennon. Youwent with snoopy. Yeah, Nice, real nice. Yeah, okay, that's a great guy. What else? What else you got? I amgoing to say, and this would be a very popular pick, Ibelieve, with our listeners if we ran a poll today, it might evenget over ninety four percent, to be honest with you. But what aboutlast Christmas by Wham? Yeah, that's a good one, it's a greatone. Yeah, that's that's on my it's I I wrote down like aboutmaybe ten or so. I have my top three, but then I waskind of listed a bunch of others at last Christmas. It didn't make mytop three, but it's definitely, Oh, I love it, on that list. Youde's so day is on that list. It's so a absolutely withChristmas and and and heartbroken love song.

I mean, come on that,George Michael, you you the best. We miss out. That's a goodone. MMM All right. What do you get now? Garfield, SouthPark or something? What do you have? I'M gonna go heathcliff, the thethe B list, garfields. Hum Now my number two, I wouldsay, is the little drummer boy by the Harry Simeon corral. Really, yeah, I saw growing up we, I mean driving back and forth tochurch, you know, driving over to families, you know, visit ourrelatives. When I was a kid. We had that tape and it wouldbe in the car and, you know, making like a know because, like, our relatives lived about maybe a half hour away. So, youknow, you get a lot of tunes in, you know, a lotof car time and yeah, how are you, Simeon corral? We hadthat tape and I mean I could probably list every single song on that tapeon this list, but I picked one and then kind of spread the lovea little bit. So, yeah, the little drummer boy by the HarrySimeon corral. Hmmm, very good. I'm coming with all the obvious choicesand you're hitting the deep dives. Deep dive drew. Well, I meanthere's some of the some of the obvious ones are good too. I'm not, you know, and I like. These are the ones I like. There's I have. I have maybe a couple. I think that might bepopular. But what we'll keep going. I'll probably you'll know what I whenwe get there. But what's your next one? MMM, well, forthis Pi, drew, I had to go again with a nice chat fromLiverpool. I really had to go with an other Bait, and that's PaulMcCartney singing wonderful Christmas time, because it's very trippy and it puts me inthe mood to in fact have a wonderful Christmas time. Do you like thatsong, drew? You know, I can never remember the lyrics to thatone. samply have wonderful Christmas time, and it's just that how that goes. Yeah, and it's trippy as hell. Like we had the episode about theflaming lips and this reminds me. I don't know if they ever coveredthis. If they they haven't. They should. I don't believe they have, but this song is pretty I don't...

I think Sir Paul could have possiblybeen up to some high jinks when he, you know, composed this this song, but for me it's cheery, it's happy and it's a little offbeatand different and it always puts me in a good mood. Oh Yeah,I mean it beats the message in your head. We're simply having a wonderfulChristmas time and if you, even if you weren't, and you listen tothat song by like the eighty seven time he said we're simply having a onefulChristmas, believe it. Then you're like, you know, then, like youknow what I am? Yeah, I guess I am. The moonis right spirits up. You're into it. You know what I mean. Andby the way, this is also his wings era. So Paul McCartneyand wings. I want to mention that cause I just did say Paul McCartneyin my little crappy British accent. Maybe somewhere our listeners, because hey, don't forget about wings, and I won't. I didn't. That's that's that's agood tune. It's fun. Yep, I'm down with that one. CoolDude. All right, my, my. So this is I feellike my top three is pretty solid here. I think, as far as youknow the order of it, and I feel like that is my topthree. If anybody asks which we kind of are this, he's definitely ismy number three here. I would say I'm going with Santa Claus is comingto town by Bruce Springstein. Oh Wow, you know, I it's that's amazing. Because I like that song a lot and when I sing that songI always embellish like I was bruce springsteen. Yeah, you know, I meanSaya Claus come into town, you know, like your mid like coronaryor something when you sing it. So yeah, that's that's a good pick. But you know what's funny is you bringing up earlier how you like theshorter Christmas songs. I always feel like, and I don't have the track listingin front of me now because this wasn't like preplanned or anything, we'rejust, you know, when it loose and limber with his whole segment. But I felt like that was a long one. Yeah, his versions alittle bit longer. You know, it has all I have ever here.Actually, yeah, for about four and a half minutes for that one.But yeah, it does at that one...

...does go a little bit longer becausethen it gets to the end and he has like the Santa Claus laughs inthere. But I'm okay with it. It's the boss man. I'm finewith with whatever he wants to do. Okay, he can get away withanything. Bruce Springstein can just do whatever the hell he wants, especially Chrisyes, especially Christmastime. That's a pretty good pick. Yeah, Ye,have anymore? No, I only came with a few, plus the MellieKalikui Maka, and I think okay, that was enough for now. Youknow what, when we originally talked about kind of bringing up some of ourfavorite Christmas songs, I I was looking around just out of curiosity to seefor Meybe I forgot something. There are a lot of contemporary versions of oldsongs. I know you had mentioned that. Who did Mellie Collicki Maka as well? You said Jimmy buffy Buffett. Yeah, you know, I justkind of glazed over those because if it's not something that really sticks out mymind, I don't need it, I don't want it. They can, yeah, return it, just like many people will after the holiday season isover and they get those crappy what they call the Yankee swap or the YankeeSanta. was the whole secret Santa. Everybody has a different name and orsomething. Yeah, I don't know what it's called, like you get aname out of a hat and you grab somebody something worth like fifty, butI guess the Secret Santa. Yeah, but everybody's got a different name forit. Like I've heard people reference like different titles and I'm like what isthat, and they're like, oh, it's like a Yankee swap, orit's the secret saything like well, this call it that. It's a rustyTrombo. It's a Russy whoa urban dictionary. Any worry? Yeah, now, okay, now we know that I think about. We all know whattruth getting people for Christmas this year. Rusty, well, last bottom boat. Anyway. Yeah, I mean some of the other so here's one right, so I'll be home for Christmas. I mean the whole story behind thatsong gets kind of a depressing song a little bit, but it's still apretty song. And and again bing crosby's...

...version of that. I think forme it's my favorite. Rascal flats did a version of this, so I'mguessing you can figure out what Song I have not listened to. Is therascal flats version of Bobion for Christmas. Yeah, but yeah, that's that'sanother good one, you know, being, you know, standard rocking around theChristmas tree, but only the Brenda Lee version, which was also theone that they played in home alone. Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives. You mentioned burrow earlier. Holly Jolly Christmas. That's to go, and that Ialways put you in a good mood. Here's a random one. So growingup my sister was a big new kids on the block fander, Funky, funky Christmas. So I have to play that for my kids every yearand they like give me this like look in their eyes, like what areyou doing mark kids? It's true, but we gotta play it, wegotta play it. Christmas wrapping by the waitresses. That's a good one.I like that one. That's like a solid s might have been maybe lateS, but it was like a late S, early eighty song. Cooltune, cool tune we mentioned. WHAM YEP, here's one. I don'tknow if you ever heard of this one. I always. I remember listening tothis on the radio driving to and from church. The twelve pains ofChristmas by Bob Rivers. No, I can only imagine that those pains couldbe. It's it's it's pretty funny actually. I'll have to see if I cansend you the I have it on my Christmas playlist. I'll send youthe list or the the song on spotify. It's I always think it's funny Idon't play in front of the kids. HMM, but that's funny. Thatmakes me think about being a kid again. And the other song thatmakes think about being a kid, dude, the chipmunks. Now, Dude, when I so might my one daughter, the hat we have like a littleAlvin like stuffed animal and the like. You, when you pressing me,plays like their Freakin chipmunk song. And and like she was just likeplay it all the time and I'm like stop playing that, it is soannoying. Well, guess what? When I I was a kid, andI still have the cassette tape here,...

I have the chipmunks Christmas and Iwould play it on repeat. Like I remember, like we had like inour basement. We had our commodore sixty four set up down there, soI'll play like games on there, and around the holiday season I would justhad a little like radio player next to me with a little tape player. So I throw that tape in and just boom, side a, let itgo all the way through, switch it over to side B and just continueto do that like all day. And I don't know how my parents didnot strangle me because that tape was on repeat. Your Dad had a littlehell, hold my Jack Daniels. He might have. Yeah, like whatthe Hell? He's probably thinking himself like, like what, where did I gowrong? Like I might doing something wrong as a father. Wise myson continue listen to the chipmunks. Good Lord, I don't let my songrow up to be a chipmunk. Yeah, please, but that's a that's thoseare some of those, some of the ones that I like the most. Well, I'm glad you didn't choose grandma got run over by a reindeer. That's a that's terrible. It's terrible and it was a song I alwayslike growing up that now it's been canceled by popular culture. Was the babyit's cold outside and that. Yeah, that was on a date rape song, but I didn't really I didn't associate it with that grown up. Butthen, as an adult, I heard it and I think it was muchmore clearer than, if our listeners haven't checked it out yet, the DanFogelberg Christmas episode last time out, where you were implying Mr Fogelberg was upto no good. I think, Oh, oh, yeah, you know, you're absolutely right. Yeah, maybe it's cold outside definitely kicks it upand not. Oh Yeah, Dan Fogelberg's just kind of like, you know, gingerly hitting on this girl, this married girl, I think. Butbaby, it's cold outside. He's like, here's a drink. Yeah, youknow, take your take your coat off, you're not going anywhere.Yeah, he might as well. He's might as well. Like one ofthe line should just be I just drew up this in your drink. Youknow, she you know. Yeah, something like that. What you dropin my drink gets a roofy, I...

...think. You know. It's aroundthe floor. Please look the do yeah, that's something else and I can't listento it now because it got into my head.
